As promised I am back with some intresting triva from F.R.I.E.N.D

Courteney Cox was originally asked to play Rachel, but she asked to play Monica instead after reading the parts.
Jon Cryer was originally offered the role of Chandler Bing.
Other titles considered for the show were "Friends Like Us," "Six of One," and "Across the Hall." "Insomnia Cafe" was also considered.
The golden frame around the peephole was originally a mirror which one of the crew accidentally smashed. But because it still looked good they decided to leave it there.
In the episode "The One With the Girl Who Hits Joey" (ep. #5.15), Ross (David Schwimmer) is called "3B" by the other residents of his new building. Schwimmer played Josh '4B' Goldstein (nicknamed after his apartment) on "NYPD Blue" (1993).

Ursula Buffay, Phoebes' twin sister, is a waitress in the TV show "Mad About You" (1992). Fran (Leila Kenzle) and Jamie ('Helen Hunt' ) visit the coffee shop and mistake Phoebe for Ursula in one episode of Friends.

Ross claims that the only time he had made a man twice his size cry was when he was four and washed his father's Porshe with rocks (TOW All The Rugby). In TOW Joey Moves Out, Ross's dad says he bought his Porshe when he turned fifty. So, if when he was fifty Ross was four, that would make him be almost eighty years old and he certainly doesn't look that age.



In TOW the Dozen Lasagnes, Joey claims to know about Kip, Chandler's old roommate. But he doesn't know who he is in TOW all the Kips. Knowing Joey he could've forgotten, but still!



Rachel tells Gunther that her birthday is in May 5th (TOW Joey's New Girlfriend) which would make her a taurus. In TOW Chandler's Dad the police officer says that she's an aquarius according to her drivers licence.



If Chandler was in Ross's band (TOW With all the Thanksgivings) why did he make fun of him for working on his music in TOW With the Prom Video?

In the first episode "The Pilot" Chandler is the first person to speak when he is talking about his dream. In the last episode "The Last One" Chandler is the last person to speak after they say to get coffee, and he asks where.


While it is right that in the TV version of the first episode (Pilot 1.1) Chandler started the show with his dream-talk (his dream was a gr8 one , remember?) , in the uncut version , it is was Monica who started talking (There's nothing to tell!) , its an ironic start to a show where you have everything to tell, doesn't it ?

Heres the conversation of that :


SCENE 1: CENTRAL PERK. (ALL PRESENT EXCEPT RACHEL AND ROSS)

MONICA: There's nothing to tell! He's just some guy I work with!

JOEY: C'mon, you're going out with the guy! There's gotta be something wrong with him!

CHANDLER: So does he have a hump? A hump and a hairpiece?

PHOEBE: Wait, does he eat chalk?

In Chandler''s and Joey''s room there is a poster with boxing kangaroos which says "Kangaroo Boxer" in Russian.
In the last few months of shooting Friends, Courteney Cox became pregnant, but, seeing as Monica wasn''t supposed to be able to have a baby, they covered up her pregnancy by making her wear baggy clothes while shooting the show so no one could tell.
In the episode "The One After the Superbowl" (episode # 2.12), the other production assistant that Julia Roberts is conversing with his her actual sister, Lisa Roberts Gillan.
James Michael Tyler was given the part of Gunther because he knew how to operate a cappucino machine.
Gunther was not originally a speaking part.
James Michael Tyler was actually working in a coffee shop in Hollywood when he got the part of Gunther. He kept his coffee gig for the first four seasons of Friends.

there r some friend jokes that u feel that only u and a handful of people  really get. for ex: in the epsiode where joey gets the small chick and is petting it  and chandler looks at him bemused and goes, " easy george", now that was a wicked joke but very few  people actually got what chandler meant.( from the character of mildly retarded George, who crushed  mice while petting it in Steinbecks classic-Of Mice and Men..

there are a  lot of such undiscovered gems which escape friends fans radar, probabaly even mine too.

The dry cleaner from "The One Where Paul''s the Man" (episode # 6.22) claims never to have seen the movie Air Force One (1997). The actor who played the dry cleaner, Ilia Volokh, played the part of Vladimir Krasin, the first terrorist to die at the hands of the president, in Air Force One.
Leah Remini auditioned for the role of Monica.
The first time Courteney Cox wore her fat suit in "The One With The Prom Video", Matthew Perry walked by her without knowing who she was.
Joey first used his trademark line "How you doin''" in "The One With Rachel''s Crush", in the fourth season.
Bruce Willis starred in "The One Where Ross Meets Elizabeth''s Dad" for no fee, due to a bet he lost to Matthew Perry.
In "The One In Barbados, Part 1", Joey and Rachel wear fake name tags to get into a convention. Rachel wears the name tag Kate Miller, a love interest of Joey''s in Season 3.
Lisa Kudrow was terrified of the duck that showed up in Season 3.

Quetion: Rachel Green or Greene?

Answer:
It''s been spelled both ways. The credits of any episode where her parents appeared list their last name as "Green." But in "The One With The Invitation," Ross''s envelope to Rachel, as well as her RSVP note, spell it "Greene." Then in episode 10.04, "The One With the Cake," the box with Emma''s cake had "Green" written on it.
Whom shall we assume knows how to spell her name better? Ross and Rachel (or actually, the prop master who prepared those envelopes)? The guy at the cake shop (who didn''t even give Rachel the right cake)? Or the people who prepare the show''s credits? Don''t get too hung up on things like this.

There is an easy way to talk like the friends, or there is a hard way!

The hard way is to watch friends 24/7 for 6 months (which may not be that hard, but it is long). The easy way, well, you've found it, read this guide and you'll have mastered the friends language! 


PHOEBE :   If you want to be Phoebe, the first thing that you have to master is the prununciation. Y should be pronounced 'eee'. Eww should be long, and streached out, so that it is more like 'eeeeewwwwwwwwwww', or make it very shout, and snappy, like 'ew'. Then you have to get the language. You have to add one of these words to at lease every other scentence 'Na-ha', 'Ew' (as pronounced above), 'O' and 'Ok'.

CHANDLER : If you really want to talk like chandler, then you have to add lots of 'not' and 'so', and put the enphasis on them, it works much better when these are both together, 'It is so NOT true'. You also have to change the emphasis on words, for example, 'Could this guide BE much better?' or 'Could that report BE any later?'. You also have to let your thoughts out, and not hold them up, speak your mind!  ALSO U HAVE TO FUNNY & MAKE FUN OF YOUR FRIEND SOMETIMES!

Monica : Monica talks rather normally, however you have to add 'Shall We?' in main sentences, even when it is not needed. to answer something , sometimes u have to say "I KNOWWWWW" . You also have to become uptight, and annoyed very easily, and have the ability to say a nice thing with an nasty edge in your voice.


JOEY : If you would like to be Joey, then it is really quite simple. You have to ask all of the really obvious questions, and state the obvious. You also have to not get it when people say things, without saying them.



ROSS : To talk like Ross, you have to add.....long pauses.....and become.....irritated when.....other people......do it. You also have to add high pitched noises, and slightly screw up your face. You also need to pronounce all of your words correctly, and extra bits, in chandlers words 'Oh they do, do they?'!


RACHEL : To be a Rachel, you have to have the ability to start to talk very high pitched when you get upset, and make all of your words end up as a long mumber, so that only you can tell what they mean. You can also start to put a hard sound in your voice when you start to talk nasty!

there is another flaw in friends that i would like to point out - In the 9th Season - The One in Barbedos - Ross and Charlie are having a conversation about how their fiances were gay. At that point Ross says that he floated the idea of a threesome.

Acutally the idea of a threesome was shown in the episode - The One that would have been. THis episode shows where Ross tries a threesome with his wife. Its an hypothetical episode and shows what would have been if ross never got divorced, rachel got married, monica was fat, chandler was writing for comic strips, phoebe working with meryll lynch and joey still on Days of our Lives.
